Time to work Liao

Enough of all the baking and cooking. For the past 4 days that I'm off I had learn how to make pineapple tarts, liver balls, Da kwai, Ngoh hiang and pineapple juice. Um... still have chap cai and giam cai ah.... yummy.

Today is the last day of relaxation and tml I'm to start on my new job liao. feeling a bit nervous, really duno wat to anticipate... but I'm going to have a positive attitude towards my new job...

Lord Jesus I commit tis new assignment into Your hands, Let there be favor among my colleagues and boss and also let me shine and bring in more souls into ur kingdom. Amen!

recipe to pineapple tarts

Today after 10yrs of no baking.... I'm back in action... yeah Yogi mother taught me how to make pineapple tarts....the recipe:

Yogi's mum pineapple tarts
Fillings:

1. Raw pineapple 11 Whole
2. 1kg of sugar

Method:

a. Slice the pineapple into strip
b. Grind pineapple in jucier
c. Strained it with a muslim bag. Squeezed out all juice.
d. Retained the pineapple Za only.
e. Mix in the 1kg of sugar and cooked it till it become a paste.
f. Set aside to cool.

Pastry
1. 1.5kg of plain flour
2. 907g of unsalted butter
3. 2 Ounce of hot water
4. 1/4 tsp of salt
5. 5 eggs

Method:
a. sleeve the flour
b. cut the butter into small little cubes and mixed into the flour
c. add the 1/4tsp of salt into the 2 ounce of h20. set aside to cool
d. beat the 5 eggs and add in the cool salt water.
e. use the egg beater to mixed the flour and butter. add in the beaten eggs slowly.
f. mixed till mixture don't stick to the side of bowl.
g. take out a portion of dough and roll it till 2cm thick with rolling pin. use the pineapple tart mould to cut out size.
h. scoop out ready made pineapple with a melon spoon and put on top of pastry.
i. pre heat oven and bake for 10mins 180 degrees.
j. ready to eat. yummy

Got Violated!

My poor eggplant got violated by SHB9016R....

It happened on a fateful Thurs at takashimaya Taxi Stand. I was stationary innocently awaiting for traffic to clear b4 moving. Then I saw this white Shark coming towards me... I immediately hold down my loud Horn....... but to no avail.

Now my poor eggplant is recuperating in the hospital. I really do hope this white shark be sentenced to hang with NO MERCY!!!!!

New

Today is the 3rd of Jan 2008!

It's a NEW YEAR with NEW HOPE!
Just gotten a new dairy/organizer from yogi not long ago... starting to plan my year ahead. New Resolutions, New Hope, New directions....etc
I've started to write down a few of my resolutions for year 2008 and I'm very excited about it.Really looking forward for my wishes and dreams to come to past.

OH YES! A new job starting from 1st Feb. Um... happy to get this contract based assignment. Though it's not a full time perm job still I have the opportunity to try other things not just nursing. Also it will give me time to help out in my own coy.I'm really looking forward for the change.

Um going shopping for New clothes too... heehee CNY coming that's why. Because my FQ is higher so needs time to look for big size, nice clothes. This gonna be a busy NEW Year!

And now I shall not blog any further cos my Bozz just stepped into the hse...opps!

Counting Down to 2008

2007 gonna be over soon ...... This year itself I feel that is a blessed year for me. Blessed because I finally found someone to share my life with, with understanding kakis I have and being able to contact some of my secondary school friends.Of cos there is always ups and downs in life, I want to choose to look at the positive and put away the negatives. Like what Dr Ed Cole says how we are going to leave 2007 will determine how we are going to enter into 2008. I want to enter 2008 with new dreams, hope and of cos being positive.

Before I stepped into 2008, there's some wishes I would like to fulfill.
. I want to shake away some pounds cos my FQ (fat quotation) really very high
. To be able to see reconciliation b/w my Sis and dad.
. To pray for new visions for my life in 2008. (man w/o vision will always goes back to the past)
. Pack my room
There will be just 4 more days for me to do all these....aiyo.... God I need help!!!

Tiring Christmas week

Thought I could actually rest and enjoy my 4 days leaves for this Christmas... but I'm WRONG!!! Yeah bz with shopping and wrapping gifts ( well all the last min shopping) family gatherings, serving in tv ministry........ then most taxing of all the christmas bazzar at expo.

We did some hand made lanterns to sell ( also want to test out market) and did some photos print.
Guess wat, the highlight shld be the lantern but none was sold instead the photos are the popular ones. Not discourage though cos we manage to get some lobang to exhibit our work in vivo nxt yr aft Elim Chew came by our stall. This is really gonna be a good opportunity and an eye opener for us.

Then finally got to pack up and go home... wait not for me cos I've to go back to work... sianz....... finished work at abt 8pm, rushed down to meet yogi and rush down to his cousin's place for dinner. Then finally finally we have 2 more hrs for ourselves b4 christmas ends. I really treasured and enjoyed that quality 2hrs And yes I really love ur present u gave but u never filled it up with pics..... ( I've got a nice red photo album from shanghai tang).

Then finally washed up and get to rest...... Preparing to work the nxt day....
Overall, though tired but did enjoy this Christmas..... Merry Christmas every one!!!

Facebook is really amazing

Today to my surprise someone whom I have lost contact with for almost 10yrs plus added me in her facebook, that's my secondary school classmates. I was so busy adding those I know in and trying to obtain their contact numbers. Those are the days where we often hand out at queeenstown, jurong entertainment center etc aft sch and now almost everyone are married with kids as old as 12yrs old liao.... me want to faint liao.. so wat am i still doing????? haiz
